On Tuesday, February 15, the Dudley Township Library held it’s first annual paper airplane contest. Students enthusiastically gathered at the library after school to try their best flight. With divisions according to age, the participating pupils were given 2 tries. The winners in the different categories were as follows:
- Kindergarten and under…Kaelin Johnson
- 1st & 2nd Grade…Aaron Gallegos
- 3rd & 4th Grade…Gabriel Salas
- 5th & 6th Grade…Oscar Moreno
- Overall Grand Champion…Oscar Moreno
After a large prize was given to the winners of each category, and smaller prizes to those participating, the students were treated to brownie sundaes in the conference room. Due to the wonderful weather outside, most chose to eat their sweet in the gazebo on Main Street.

Haha… I remember spending hours creating paper airplanes at primary school. We has always told off for making them
It’s nice to see the kids being encouraged to make them now, GREAT STUFF!
